Rewriting the Series

Awhile back, I had written more than half the series (up to half of the fourth book), and I had the rest of that and the fifth book to complete before the series would be finished. I had all the plots and story-lines ready to be written on paper. However, after heavily editing/rewriting book 1 (Obsidian) and book 2 (Island of the Unnatural) and still feeling slightly dissatisfied with the results, I decided to restart and rewrite the entire series. I wanted to be publish-worthy, or at least public-worthy if I decided to self-publish (which I have). So I am currently starting over, as said, and I am almost done with the first draft of book 1. The story-lines are similar to the old versions, but no longer ludicrous, and the new versions are also longer and the plot thoroughly developed. Things are no longer jumbled and are relevant. I have also changed the titles of each novels so they relate to each other throughout the series and connect symbolically with the story. The series now have meaning. I plan to self-publish all of these five books in the future, and I will keep you updated on my progress. And as said, Obsidian will be released June 1 of this year, if not earlier, and I will be posting an excerpt soon.
Thank you for the support. Comment with any questions or interests, and I will get back to you.
